Kevin Roth

Kevin Roth is a sports meteorologist with more than a decade of experience translating forecasts into actionable analysis for fantasy players and bettors. He served as Chief Meteorologist at RotoGrinders.com from 2012 to 2026, where his daily MLB, NFL, and PGA weather coverage became required reading across the daily fantasy and sports-betting communities.

Today, Kevin writes the daily MLB Weather column for PropFinder, forecasts on X (@KevinRothWx) for all outdoor sports, and runs OVERcast, his subscription tool for weather-driven MLB analysis with NFL coverage in development. He is also a meteorologist at ABC13 (KTRK-TV) in Houston.

His sports-weather work has been featured by Fox Weather, Yahoo Sports, Sporting News, The Weather Channel, CBS Sports, Baseball America, Matthew Berry's Fantasy Life, and Lee Enterprises newspapers. He has also been cited on The Pat McAfee Show and the other major sports-betting podcasts. Kevin holds a master's degree in atmospheric science from Mississippi State University.
